FAQs

1. What is sublimation?

Sublimation ink, when heated, turns from a solid to a gas that embeds itself into the fibers of the shirt. When it cools, it goes back to a solid and becomes a permanent part of the fabric. This means that the transferred design adds no additional layer on top, so there’s no difference in feeling between the printed image and the rest of the fabric. This also means that the transfer is incredibly durable, and under normal conditions, will last as long as the product itself.

2. Why does my shirt look faded?

Sublimation ink embeds itself to into the polymer fibers of a polyester shirt. It will not show up on cotton fibers. Therefore, if a shirt isn't 100% polyester, the design may come off as a "vintage" look, which most of the time, is done on purpose!

2. What is turn around time?

Turn around time is the time it takes from the day you place the order until the day I ship the order. My standard TAT is 1-2 weeks, however, if I have everything in stock I can get it shipped out within 2-3 days. Please remember, I am only one person, a mother of three small children. I can't always get things done the same day you order them.
